Hi Everyone,

We are posting some pictures of Singapore.  The top picture shows the beautiful orchids that grow here.  The skyline of Singapore is a beautiful sight. The house is actually one of the LDS churches and we are staying in a little building behind the church.  It is a great chapel.  The fan palm leaf is about 5 feet across.  Absolutely amazing.  

Well, I was released as Stake Relief Society President yesterday and it is a bittersweet feeling.  I loved the calling because I loved all the women -- 1489 of them.  I had to speak in stake conference and so I am now relieved that that is behind me.  We are still waiting for any word from Salt Lake concerning a mission, but we will let you know the minute that envelop is in our mailbox.  Probably another week is my guess.  We haven't heard too many guesses as to where it might be.  Have a good week and love to you all.  Mom

Well--we have had our interview with Pres. Cook and today we had our Hepatitis shots and our Tetanus shots --- one step closer.  We should know in a couple of weeks-----  Any guesses of where?

Thanks to all of you for making our Christmas so great.  We appreciate your thoughtfulness to us.  We had a huge snowstorm on Christmas night and woke to a foot of new snow which was amazingly beautiful because the skies were bright blue.  We took a ride through Benson, Weston, Malad, Cherry Creek, Portage and home.  A great day!
